SHERI TRASK. Post Cards; 1900-1945. .25 cu. ft.

Sheri Trask was a student at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. She later graduated from the University of California, Davis, and served in the Peace Corps.

The collection consists of two albums of historic Alaskan post cards (color and black and white) collected by Sheri Trask, as well as a copy of the collection. The post cards show Alaskan natives, totem poles, glaciers, ships and boats, buildings, scenery, and towns and villages. Among the towns and villages shown are: Wrangell, Tanana, Skagway, Seward, LaTouche, Juneau, Ketchikan, Metlaktla, Haines, Nenana, and Valdez.

The collection was placed on deposit for copying at the archives for a period of 10 years beginning in 1982. It was copied by the archives in 1984.
