The three sportsmen in the photographs were on a fishing trip aboard the boat Pacific in Southeast Alaska in 1912.
The collection consists of the photographs of an English sportsman. The collection contains ten original black and white prints, two envelopes in which the photographs were kept, and 10 preservation copy negatives of the prints. The photographs depict the group of sportsmen on a fishing trip in Southeast Alaska in 1912. Specific subjects of the photographs include: the men posing with their salmon and halibut catches (3); a halibut, salmon, and crab hanging from a rope in front of the cabin of their boat (1); a man standing in the rapids of a stream holding his fishing rod and string of fish (2); their boat, the Pacific, in icy waters (2); two of the men crossing a small ice field on a rocky hillside (1); and two of the men standing in a forest clearing (1).
The collection was acquired by the archives in 2004.
