PETE. Soldier's Photograph Album; n.d., 1931-1962. .25 cu. ft.

Pete (last name unknown) was a cook with the U. S. Army from Battle Creek, Michigan. He served at Fort Custer, Michigan, in 1947, and Fort Richardson, Alaska, in 1948.

The collection consists of the contents of a U. S. Army cook's photograph album. The collection contains: a xerographic copy of the original 65 page album; 238 original black and white prints; 19 original color prints; and 20 black and white Alaskan commercial tourist prints. Subjects of the original prints include: Pete and fellow soldiers and friends at Fort Custer, Michigan, Fort Richardson, Alaska, and other duty stations; and family and friends in Battle Creek, Michigan and elsewhere.

The collection was acquired by the archives in 2006.
