VESTA M. KENNEDY (1904-2000). Tourist Scrapbook; 1992. .25 cu. ft.

Vesta M. Kennedy was from Bethesda, Maryland. In July 1992, she took a seven day cruise of Southeast Alaska aboard the MS Niew Amsterdam of Holland America Line-Westours, Inc. Kennedy  booked the cruise through the AARP Travel Experience from American Express. Her cruise of the Inside Passage departed from Vancouver, British Columbia, and included stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, Glacier Bay National Park, and Sitka. Vesta Kennedy died in Bethesda, Maryland, in 2000.

The collection consists of the Southeast Alaska cruise scrapbook of Vesta M. Kennedy from 1992. The 72 page scrapbook contains clippings from travel literature, brochures, itineraries, menus, programs, tickets, receipts, tags, photo post cards, and other items from her trip.

The collection was acquired by the archives in 2007.
