"Eye of the Beholder 4;" October 2011. Forthcoming online. This participatory exhibit called on individuals to interpret a single archival image from the Christine McClain papers. Call for submissions.

"Alaska's Working Women;" March 2011-April 2011. First Floor Consortium library, Great Room. Megan Friedel, Mariecris Gatlabayan, and Nicole Jackelen curated this exhibit of historical photographs of women performing a variety of jobs in Alaska.

"Eye of the Beholder 3;" October 2010. Forthcoming online. This participatory exhibit called on individuals to interpret a single archival image from the Russ Dow papers. Call for submissions.

"Alaskans Indoors;" November 2009-February 2010. First Floor Consortium library. Nicole Jackelen, Mariecris Gatlabayan, and Arlene Schmuland curated this exhibit of historical photographs of indoor life in Alaska. The photographs exhibit was accompanied by an exhibit of volumes from the Rare Books collection entitled "The armchair traveler in rare books."

"Eye of the Beholder 2;" October 2009. This participatory exhibit called on individuals to interpret a single archival image from the National Geographic Society Katmai expedition photographs collection.

"The 50th Anniversary of Alaska Pacific University;" April-October 2009. First Floor Consortium Library, Great Room. Claire Agni, APU student, curated this exhibit celebrating the anniversary of the opening of Alaska Methodist University/Alaska Pacific University.

"Eye of the Beholder 1;" October 2008. Archives & Special Collections Reading room. This participatory exhibit called on individuals around the University of Alaska Anchorage to interpret a single archival image from the Richard Tighe Harris collection.

"Alaska: Gone to the Dogs;" February - April 2007. First Floor Consortium Library, Foucault Pendulum surround. Nicole Jackelen, interim Reference Archivist, curated this exhibit of 49 historic photographs celebrating the roles dogs play in Alaskan's lives.

“The Women of ACC and UAA;” March 2007.  First Floor Consortium Library, Great Room.  Archivist Arlene Schmuland and Assistant Professor of History Elizabeth James co-curated this Women’s History Month exhibit on the women students and employees of the Anchorage Community College and the University of Alaska Anchorage. 

"Celebrating Alaska's Constitution;" November, 2005 - March, 2006. First Floor Consortium Library, Great Room. The archivist, Dennis Walle, mounted this exhibit commemorating the 50th anniversary of Alaska Statehood. It contained papers, publications, artifacts, and other materials relating to the statehood movement and the convention.

"The Ordinary and Extraordinary Lives of Alaskan Women;" March 8-31, 2005. First Floor Consortium Library, Great Room. The Reference Archivist Arlene Schmuland and Assistant Professor of History Elizabeth James, mounted an exhibit for Women's History Month on behalf of UAA's Women's Studies Program. The exhibit featured 47 photographs from the archives collections. It was formally opened on March 12.

"70th Anniversary of the Anchorage Fur Rendezvous;" February 17-March 4, 2005. First Floor Consortium Library, Great Room. The Archivist, Dennis Walle, assisted Mel Kalkowski in mounting an exhibit celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Anchorage Fur Rendezvous. The exhibit included 55 mounted photographs, 21 artifacts, and 9 annuals from the archives collections. In addition, there were numerous colorful artifacts from Mr. Kalkowski's private collection including a dogsled. The exhibit was mounted between February 16 and February 7. It was formally opened on February 17.

"George Harper's Black in Alaska's Past Exhibit: "Blacks in the Gold Rush;"" January 31-February 14, 2005. The archivist, Dennis Walle, and assistant archivist, Jeffrey Sinnott mounted George Harper's Black in Alaska's Past exhibit, entitled "Blacks ion the Gold Rush," in three exhibit cases on the first floor of the Consortium Library, in th Great Room. The exhibit was available to the public from January 31 to February 14, 2005. Thereafter, the exhibit was loaned out for display at the BP Atrium (Feb. 15-16) and City Hall (Feb. 23-28) in Anchorage.

"50th Anniversary of University of Alaska Higher Education in the Anchorage;" December 2004 to January 2005. The archivists developed an expanded exhibit on the 50th anniversary of the University of Alaska higher education programs in the Anchorage area. The five case exhibit was located on the third floor of the Consortium Library addition from December 2004 to January 2005.

"Alaskan Images of Sport Hunters and Fishermen from the Collections of the UAA Archives;" Fall 2002-Spring 2003. Library Entrance Exhibit Area.

"Cruising Alaska: Tourist Images of the Last Frontier, 1929-1932;" May-November 2001. Library Entrance Exhibit Area.

"The Friendly Log Cabin: The U.S.O. in Anchorage, 1941-1945;" November 2000-March 2001. Library Entrance Exhibit Area. The exhibit was again mounted by Jeffery Sinnott in the First Floor Consortium Library, Great Room, from August 2006 to February 2007.

"The Alaska Repertory Theatre: Professional Theatre in the Great Land;" February-October 2000. Library Entrance Exhibit Area.

"Filming 'Eskimo' on Location: The Michael Philip Collection; 1932-1933;" August 1999-January 2000. Library Entrance Exhibit Area.

"The Great Alaska Earthquake: March 27, 1964;" March-August 1999. Library Entrance Exhibit Area.

"Steamships in Trouble: Shipwrecks, Accidents, and Adverse Conditions in Alaskan Coastal Waters;" December 1998-March 1999. Library Entrance Exhibit Area. Fall, 2005. Great Room, Consortium Library. 2 exhibits.
