Biographical note:
Frances Ray served as the first Registrar of Anchorage Community College. She served in that position from 1954 to 1957 and also taught a typing course.

Collection description:
The collection consists of color slides of the first Anchorage Community College Commencement with a list identifying the individuals on each slide, negatives of each slide, and 35mm contact negatives of four of the slides. In addition, there is a copy of the Winter 1955 edition of Alaska Quarterly containing an article concerning Anchorage Community College.

Arrangement: The slides are in numerical order as arranged by the Rays.
