Biographical note:
Randy Phillips served in the Alaska House of Representatives from 1977 to 1992 and in the Alaska State Senate from 1993 to 2003 representing the Chugiak-Eagle River area. Born in Seattle and a graduate of Chugiak High School, he graduated from Alaska Methodist University with a BA in Political Science and History.

Collection description:
The collection consists of Randy Phillips’ legislative papers. These include bill files, reports, correspondence and reading files, legislative subject files, and campaign finance files. Topics of legislative files include D-2, ANWA, oil production economic limit factor (ELF) research, the Arctic Winter Games, and constituency matters.

Arrangement: The files have been retained in the order in which they arrived. Record types (reading files, bill files) may be in groups in different boxes. Researchers should consult the box list below.
