Biographical note:
Louise Delores Gill, the daughter of Anchorage businessman Oscar S. Gill, graduated from Anchorage High School in 1930. She attended Fullerton Junior College in Fullerton, California, in 1931. Louise Gill later married Harry Frederickson.

Collection description:
The collection consists of the high school memorabilia items of Louise D. Gill. The collection contains: a small album containing autographs, calling cards, business cards, Gill’s City of Anchorage driver’s licenses from 1928 and 1929, a ticket to the senior class ball at the Elk’s Temple, held March 22, 1930, and various other items; a graduation memories booklet containing notes from classmates, lists of gifts received, school faculty, speeches given, and other information; Gill’s handwritten and printed calling cards; a letter of encouragement to Gill from school superintendent Cecil M. Sly, dated May 29, 1930; four of Gill’s scholarship reports from Fullerton Junior College for classes taken in 1931; a letter to Louise from a friend named Jean concerning bear skins; an invitation for Oscar Gill to the Masonic Ball of Anchorage Lodge No. 221, held on February 22, 1930; a play program for the Anchorage High School Senior Class of 1930 production, “A Pair of Sixes,” performed on May 2, 1930; a program for the Anchorage Elks Lodge’s presentation of the musical, “The Beauty Shop”; a typed document entitled, “Last Will and Testament of the Class of ’30”;four color paper cards containing pressed plants and glitter; and a large black and white photographic print of a U. S. Geological Survey boat being pounded by the surf on a beach.
