Biographical note:
J. G. Yost was from Portland (Oregon).  In 1941, he was working in Anchorage (Alaska) and stayed at the Hotel Parsons.

Collection description:
The collection consists of a single letter with an envelope written by J. G. Yost to his wife.  The two page handwritten letter is on Hotel Parson stationary.  Hotel Parsons was located at Third and H Streets in Anchorage.  Yost writes about not having received any letters from his wife, likely finishing his work by December, the weather, and his plans to move to the new Westward Hotel the next day.
