Biographical note:
Nancy Simmerman moved to Fairbanks, Alaska in 1959. She lived in both McCarthy and Girdwood during her years as a professional photographer in Alaska and photographed statewide.

Collection description:
This collection consists of photographs taken by Nancy Simmerman during her time living in Alaska.

Arrangement: The collection is currently grouped by photograph type: slides, negatives and contact prints. Some are in numerical order by photograph number.

Digitized copies: Some images from the collection are being digitized and placed online in the Alaska's Digital Archives (search Nancy Simmerman).
