The list contains modified collection descriptions developed from a key word search of the collections descriptions. The heading for each entry is the same as that found in the Collections List and in the collection description. The text of the description has been modified to provide specific information on the maps and other similar materials in the collection. Detailed lists of these materials may be found in the inventories attached to the collection descriptions. Those portions of the inventories which relate to maps may be attached to these abbreviated descriptions at some point in the future.
