The Academic Policy and Curriculum Board served to merge the curricula and academic policies of UAA and ACC after the merger of the two institutions.

Series description:
This series includes a rough draft of academic policies developed and curriculum offered by the University of Alaska Anchorage, shortly after the merger of University of Alaska, Anchorage (UA,A), Anchorage Community College (ACC), and surrounding community colleges. The manuscript outlines policies such as academic probation, application procedures for undergraduate and graduate programs, and course credit offerings. The series also includes the meeting minutes and agendas for meetings of the Board.

Custodial history: The draft policy was given to the Archives in 2009 by Gretchen Bersch, one of the co-chairs of the committee. The minutes and agendas were transferred to the Archives by the Governance Office in 2010.
