The letter reads: “Anchorage, Alaska March 9 -55 Dear Jelly Bean, Sorry you haven’t been feeling well, But I wish you a quick recovery. Mon. March 14th is my birthday. I will be 7 yrs. Old. My name is Jerry Lee Allen. And I’d like to hear a Roy Rogers story, or what ever you think I’d like. I think your daddie did a good job taking your place while you were ill. But no one is good as you. Your friend, Jerry Lee Allen”
