Per the website:
Yes, you may borrow books from this library. But since we do not have a printed or electronic catalogue of our 225,000 titles, let me explain how our library works. The Congregational Library has an extensive collection of contemporary and classic religious studies material. Fields represented in the circulating collections include Biblical studies, theology, philosophy, preaching, worship, history, education, church organization and missions, social problems, world perspectives, church music, biography, and the natural and social sciences as they affect religion. Noncirculating collections include a rich collection of accounts of Congregational councils, local church histories, town histories, church architecture, printed sermons and hymnals. Books older than 35 years do not circulate but can be used on the premises. Books may be borrowed in person or by mail. The library is not online--at least not yet!--but you may inquire about particular titles or topics by phone or letter.
