About the New Titles List

The New Titles List is a current awareness tool that includes the new and recently acquired titles added to the Consortium Library's collection during the past month. The list includes books and other items, such as videos, DVD's, and microforms, that are either purchased or received as gifts. Some of the new titles may be marked as "Reference"; these items are available for use in the Library but may not be checked out.

Please keep in mind that the New Titles List is intended as a way to keep you informed of the Library's new acquisitions. It is not meant as a reflection of spending priorities. For any given month, because of mail delivery, budget cycles, and many other reasons, it is possible to have more titles listed in one subject discipline than another.

The subject disciplines listed below correspond to the adjacent call number ranges and are used by the liaison librarians to select materials for the collection.
