Do you offer courses on using the Library and research?

The library offers two library research courses.

LS A101 Library Resources and Information Retrieval (1 Credit)

An introduction to academic library research with an emphasis on electronic resources. This course is offered through Blackboard, although it includes one practice unit which must be conducted in a library. An academic library is preferable, but it could be adapted to any library.

LS A211 Library Research in the 21st Century (3 Credits)

Covers traditional and electronic library sources, the Internet as a research tool, and the critical and ethical uses of information. This course is taught face-to-face at the Consortium Library over one semester, so is unsuited to distance students.
