Parking

If you visit our campus during the fall or spring semester, Monday through Thursday, between 8:00 am and 7:30 pm, you will need to pay for parking. You may use the parking garage on the West side of the building or the "Pay and Park" kiosk in the parking lot to the East of the library. Both options charge $1 per hour. If you plan to be on campus for more than 6 hours, you may elect to purchase a day pass at the Consortium Library Circulation Desk. No payment or permit is necessary if you visit in the late evenings, on weekends or during the summer.

Checking Out Materials

In order to check out materials in person, you will need the card that was mailed to you upon completing the online Library Card application form or your Wolfcard, the UAA identification card that serves as your library card.

While you are in Anchorage, it is a good idea to make a trip to the Wolfcard office to get your Wolfcard. The Wolfcard office is located in Room 109 at the University Center (south end of the mall) at 3901 Old Seward Highway. The card brings benefits outside the library as well, since it works as a free pass for People Mover buses and allows you free entrance to many sporting and cultural events on campus.
