We had a great planning session last week on the IT Expo (Oct 19 and 20)
and have some awesome news for you! We are going to have 2 load fests!
Novell has stepped up to the plate! So we will do Microsoft one day and
Novell the next! Looking to also have an additional load fest the day
after the Expo so that all the folks that are helping out with the Expo
will have a chance to attend as well.
As for the Expo we really need help in the following areas:
Proctoring
Teaching
Lecture
Understudy
Booth Watching
Load Fests
Setup of laptops for labs
Reload of laptops if necessary before returning
This is by far the biggest event our group gets involved in and this year
it is even bigger yet. What we need from you is what you can help out with
(if presenting or understudy make sure you specify topic preference) and
your name email and phone contact. As a thank you to volunteers we are
arranging for some COOL doorprizes copies of Microsoft Enterprise 2003
server, Novell Server, concert tickets, and much more. Because this is so
big we will take help from NUGA and non NUGA members if you have any
contacts who are willing to help send them our way.

BTW many of the topics we already have training materials for they just
need to be spruced up and or modified a bit to fit the time line. If you
are hesitant we can help with that too and do some trial run presentations
to our group.
