[NUGA] Support Technician Position

We have a support technician position open and Affiliated Computer systems.

OVERVIEW
Provides first-level guidance, assistance, coordination, and follow-up to
client area management and staff in multiple locations. Assists in
coordinating the installation of system enhancements, hardware/software
upgrades or any system changes affecting the client's work environment.
Analyzes client issues to determine if there are network problems,
malfunctions, security, hardware, or software issues and works with
appropriate IT personnel to resolve.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
-- Provides timely response to clients with desktop, printer, or other IT
concerns.
-- Conducts client IT needs analysis based on environment or requests.
-- Provides training on desktop equipment and basic login procedures to new
employees.
-- Works closely with clients, other systems technical staff, and vendors in
project planning and problem solving of IT related issues. Resolves problems
which may impact project results.
-- Assists senior level field support staff on projects involving IT
components, such as mergers or acquisitions.
-- Assists in developing project plans for business and IT related projects.
-- May be required to provide technical support for remote users.
-- Supports and demonstrates commitment to providing customer service for
internal and external customers through adherence to customer service
standards and processes.
-- Performs other duties as required.
 
REQUIREMENTS
-- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
-- Previous (1-3 years) experience in information technology with emphasis
in desktop support, client interface, hardware installation and operation.
-- Understanding of basic desktop functions and related software.
-- Good verbal and written communication skills.
-- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
