[NUGA] Job Opening - System Administrator, Anchorage

Hi all,

I've just started a new position with Design-PT, Inc. We're a local IT
consulting firm and we have a need for a system administrator - I hope
it's ok for me to post it here. Please feel free to forward this on.

Qualified candidates should bring at least five years of professional
Windows system administration experience and have strong Windows Server
2003, Exchange 2003/2007 and Active Directory skills. You should be
comfortable with WTS, firewall and VPN technologies. Advanced
virtualization, routing, system backups and DNS skills are strongly
preferred. Some Unix knowledge as well as scripting (VB, PHP, shell,
etc) experience is highly desired. A four year degree in a related
subject area is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills are highly
desired.

You will be responsible for implementing new client site infrastructure
as well as the management of existing client sites. Normal network
administration activities (backup and recovery, patches and upgrades,
Active Directory account maintenance, Exchange server and email
maintenance, and more) will be a large part of your job. You will also
diagnose, research and troubleshoot networking problems, business
equipment and hardware.

This position generally works weekdays however evening and weekend work
is required as needs dictate. We offer medical, dental, 401(k) as well
as other benefits. Salary range starts at $68K+, DOE.
