Locating a reserve item:

  • Search the Library Catalog Course Reserves
  • Items can also be requested directly at the Circulation desk by the instructor's last name or by the course number (ex: MATH 201)

Borrowing a reserve item:

  • A current library account is required
  • Maximum of four items may be checked out at any given time
  • Fines on two hour reserves accrue at $1.00 per hour. Fines on all other items accrue at .50 cents per hour up to a total of $20.00 per item

Description

Course Reserves is where instructors place reading materials for the use of a specific class.

Instructors set the checkout time for reserve materials. The usual checkout period ranges from two hours for in-library use only to seven days.
