  • Items can also be requested directly at the Circulation desk by the instructor's last name or by the course number (ex: MATH 201)

Borrowing a reserve item:

  • A current library account is required
  • Maximum of four items may be checked out at any given time
  • Fines on two hour reserves accrue at $1.00 per hour. Fines on all other items accrue at .50 cents per hour up to a total of $20.00 per item

Adding items to reserve (faculty only):

  • Instructors need a current UAA or APU ID card.
  • Instructors wishing to place materials on reserve may use this electronic submission form
  • Unless the course appears in the next semester's schedule, the Course Reserves staff remove all instructor material from the course reserves at the end of each semester. Materials are returned to each department via personal delivery or intercampus mail.

Instructors set the checkout time for reserve materials. The usual checkout period ranges from two hours for in-library use only to seven days.
