This collection consists of the eighteen-page letter reminiscence by the unknown bank examiner describing his 1918 trip in a letter dated May 28, 1972. In it, he describes his itinerary and modes of travel including the Canadian Pacific Railroad, Princess Elizabeth, river steamboats, Bob Shelton’s stage line on the Valdez Trail, and the Canadian National Railway. He also describes places he visited including Vancouver (British Columbia), Skagway (Alaska), Whitehorse (Yukon Territory), Dawson (Yukon Territory), Circle City (Alaska), Tanana (Alaska), Fairbanks (Alaska), Copper City (Alaska), Cordova (Alaska), Juneau (Alaska), Seward (Alaska), and Prince Rupert (British Columbia).
