Biographical note:
James Schmidt lived in Anchorage, Alaska and worked for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). During the earthquake, Schmidt was in the control tower of the Anchorage airport.

Collection description:
Color slides taken of damage in the Anchorage area after the 1964 earthquake.

Arrangement: The collection is arranged in the order it arrived at Archives.
