Title

Johnnie Anderson letter

Description

A letter to Jellybean, host of an Anchorage children's radio show. The letter reads “January 6, 1955 Thursday Dear Jelly Bean, I listen to your program everyday before I get ready for school. My friends Butchie Sellmeyer and Duane Gentry are usually listening at their houses too. My little sister Connie is not quite two but she likes the theme song you play. I have a new baby brother just three weeks old. My birthday is Sunday, January 19th and I’ll be seven years old. I’m having a party Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. and we invited 24 kids so would you please play a record story or song about Cowboys or Indians for my friends and I On Saturday? Thanks a lot, Johnnie Anderson Schock Drive Lincoln Park, Spenard, Alaska”
