The Academic Honesty and Integrity Committee is proud to offer a new guide to support UAA instructors in promoting academic integrity in their classrooms. We’ve designed this as a sister publication to Students in Crisis and Conflict and plan print distribution as well as online, pending anticipated revision of the Student Code of Conduct.

Instructors will welcome the quick reference format.  Contents include:

    • What are the advantages of reporting suspicious incidents?
    • Whom to contact for guidance and resources
    • Examples of  academic integrity violations from the Student Code of Conduct Part A
    • How to document incidents, and where to find the online reporting form
    • A “pull-out” table of main types of violations with strategies for prevention, and suggested instructor responses
    • Flow chart of the Student Conduct Process for students, from incident report to sanction
    • Frequently asked questions, with practical answers from your colleagues

The online guide is in a 6-page PDF format.  We welcome your comments and suggestions at
