Do you have a research topic? Do you want to know more about where you can find information resources on that topic?

Anchorage (and beyond) Libraries, Archives, and Museums will share information on their collections and research resources and answer questions. Researchers and community members who want to learn more out about the many local resources and institutions that can support their studies and projects will find something of interest. Attendees can visit with librarians, archivists, and curators to find out which institutions have materials related to their topics. In addition, there will be talks and workshops on subjects ranging from book and film preservation to how to start a history research project.

We will have representatives from over 20 Anchorage publicly accessible research collections in subject areas covering the humanities, social sciences, education, and STEM.

The Anchorage LAM Fair is sponsored by the Alaska Library Association Anchorage Chapter, the University of Alaska Anchorage, and the UAA/APU Consortium Library. We look forward to seeing you there.
