Deb the Librarian talks with Scott Hamel, Professor in the College of Engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage.  He is organizing the College of Engineering’s Summer Engineering Academies.  These week-long academies include the following options:  Structure Destruction, 3D Modeling, Java Programming, Robotics, Energy, and Gears and Sprockets.

Professor Hamel has also been involved in providing international help as a member of the group, Engineers without Borders.  Read the Anchorage Daily News article about Professor Hamel’s work on roof design and development for Haiti.

M Butterfly Director, Jessica Jacob, shares insight on theatre this week on Informania, kruaradio.org, 88.1FM, Thurs. at 5pm.
