This Friday, October 13 from noon – 1pm, FLIP will take a tour of ARLIS, the Alaska Resources Library & Information Services.
ARLIS is a special library whose clientele are folks working in state and federal agencies dealing with natural and cultural resources. ARLIS refers to itself as the “mother lode of Alaska resources information,” and that indeed is an accurate description. Join us to learn about this unique library in Alaska, its history, and the “hidden” collections it holds.
Note: This tour will take place in person so there will be no Zoom option.
Meet in ARLIS on the first floor of the Consortium Library at noon on Friday, the 13th, for a tour provided by Ed Kazzimir and Sammi Merritt. Google maps link. Parking at UAA is free on Fridays.
