FLIP had its first meeting after a hiatus on February 26. The meeting held a panel of current graduate students obtaining their Master degree in Library and Information Science sharing their experiences as they make way through their MLIS programs.
This blog will announce future FLIP meetings – the goal is to meet quarterly in 2026. The next meeting will be in late May-early June timeframe.
Future Librarians and Information Professionals: A discussion series for library students, librarians, and all other interested people. Everyone is welcome! The purpose is to enrich library school studies with librarian expert advice and insight, as well as to share what projects MLIS students are working on with all who happen to be curious. Also, it’s a good forum for anyone considering a future career as a librarian or enrolling in an MLS or MLIS program.
