Some are famous, others not so famous, and quite a few are names no one even knows.<\/p>\n<p>Many sources are available online in QuickSearch, such as the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/uaa.summon.serialssolutions.com\/advanced#!\/search?ho=t&amp;l=en&amp;q=(PublicationTitle:(%22encyclopedia%20of%20world%20biography%22))\">Encyclopedia of World Biography<\/a>,<\/em>\u00a0an entire encyclopedia devoted to nothing but biographies.<\/p>\n<p>A sample of more specialized sources online includes the <em>Dictionary of Literary Biography; <\/em><em>Dictionary of Political Biography;\u00a0<\/em>and <em>American Men &amp; Women of Science : A Biographical Directory of Today&#8217;s Leaders in Physical, Biological, and Related Sciences.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget there are also lots of print sources on biographies in the Reference section featuring artists, writers, women, presidents, musicians, Ancient Greeks and Romans, mathematicians, and on and on.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/ask.consortiumlibrary.org\/\">Ask us<\/a> to learn more!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Consortium Library has a plethora of information on biographies of people, both living and dead.
