Request Library Instruction Session

Library instruction is a partnership between library faculty and the course instructor. Library instruction is most effective when it includes an active learning component and is tied to a specific assignment or learning outcome(s). Librarians can also work with you to incorporate information literacy into your assignments.

If you have questions about this form, email uaa.libraryinstruction@alaska.edu or call the reference desk at (907) 786-1848. For other questions related to library instruction, you may contact your subject liaison librarian.

In keeping with the University's shift to online and alternate course delivery, library instruction will be offered online for the fall 2020 semester. Librarians are prepared to work with faculty to develop customized online workshops or learning activities that can be incorporated into synchronous or asynchronous courses.
