Request Library Instruction Session

Library instruction is a partnership between library faculty and the course instructor. Library instruction is most effective when it includes an active learning component and is tied to a specific assignment or learning outcome(s). Librarians can also work with you to incorporate information literacy into your assignments.

Library Instruction Policy

To ensure quality instruction and to reduce scheduling conflicts, we require instructors to:

  • Submit this form at least 14 days prior to requested dates.
  • Respond to follow-up requests for information and course materials (syllabi, assignments, etc.) at least 7 days prior to instruction.
  • Attend instruction sessions with your students.

Failure to do so may result in your session being canceled or not scheduled.
