Writers Strike 2023

Last month an article came out about how the possibility of writer’s in Hollywood going on strike in May could occur. It is now May 3rd and the writer’s strike has been going on for more than 24 hours.

It has put a disruption on various broadcasts and can very well impact upcoming films and episode timelines if the strike continues. Late night shows as well as daytime soap operas are likely to be the first impacted.

Why is there a writer’s strike? The strike is due to a fail in contract negotiations that impact the wages of the writers not being completed on time, May 1.

This is a reminder that in fact, Words Are Powerful!
